Privacy Notice: What Personal Data This Site Handles
Effective date: 16 October 2026.
This notice covers the personal data handled through this independent information site about Lucky Capone. The site is not the casino. It has no player accounts, takes no deposits and holds no identity documents, so this notice says little on what a casino’s own policy would cover. The operator of this site decides why and how personal data is used on it and is therefore the controller for the data described below.
Messages you send to the contact address
If you write to [email protected], the site receives your e-mail address, any name you choose to give and whatever you put in the message. That data is used to read and answer the message and, where the message points out an error on a page, to correct it. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in answering readers and keeping the pages accurate.
A message is kept for as long as it is needed to deal with the matter and any correction that follows, and is then deleted. It is not added to a mailing list, because the site does not run one.
Technical data from visiting a page
As on most sites, technical data arrives with every page request. That includes the IP address, the browser and device type, the page requested and the time of the request. The data is used to deliver the page, keep the site secure and understand in general terms which pages are read. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running and securing the site.
This data is kept in server records for a limited time and is not used to identify individual readers or to build a profile of them.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the page to work are set without asking. Any cookie or similar technology that is not necessary, such as one used to measure audiences, is used only with the reader’s consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. Where consent is the basis, withdrawing it does not affect anything done before.
What the site does not collect
The site does not ask for payment details, bank or card numbers, or identity documents, and it does not ask for any gambling account detail. Identity documents, proof of address and confirmation of a payment method are matters between a player and Lucky Capone, and any such document should be sent only through the casino’s own verification, never to this address.
Sharing
Personal data is shared only with providers that help run the site, such as hosting and e-mail services, and only to the extent they need it to do that job. They act on the site’s instructions. Data is not sold, and it is not passed to Lucky Capone: nothing a reader sends to this address reaches the casino unless the reader sends it there themselves.
Transfers outside the United Kingdom
Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer relies on a safeguard recognised under UK data protection law, such as an adequacy arrangement or standard contractual clauses.
How a rights request is handled
A request sent to the contact address is matched to the person by the e-mail address it was sent from, so write from the address the data relates to. Under UK GDPR the site answers within one month of receiving the request. That period can be extended for a complex request, and the reply says so if it is. Making a request is normally free of charge. If no answer arrives, the Information Commissioner’s Office is the next route.
Access to messages and server records is limited to people who need it, and the aim is to hold as little data as possible, which also keeps a request quick to answer.
Lucky Capone’s own handling of player data
When a reader becomes a player at Lucky Capone, the casino handles the account, deposit and verification data under its own notice, which is separate from this one. Figures that appear on this site, such as a €20 deposit or a €5 bet, are examples of how the offer works and are not data about any reader.
Your rights
Each right applies to the three sets of data this site handles, and to nothing beyond them.
- Access: a copy of the messages you sent and of any correction made to a page because of them, plus the technical data held about your visit if it can be found.
- Correction: if the e-mail address or name held with a message is wrong, it is changed.
- Erasure: your message thread can be deleted before the matter is closed, unless it is needed to make a correction you asked for.
- Restriction and objection: you can object to the uses of messages and technical data that rest on legitimate interests, and ask for processing to be restricted while the objection is looked at.
- Portability: where it applies, the data you provided can be returned in a portable form.
- Withdrawing consent: a non-essential cookie can be switched off at any time, and nothing done before the withdrawal is affected.
Write to [email protected], say which right you want to use and give the e-mail address you wrote from so the request can be matched.
If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk, which can also be reached on 0303 123 1113.
Readers under 18
The site is written for readers aged 18 or over, the minimum gambling age in Great Britain. It is not directed at anyone younger, and a message that appears to come from someone under 18 is not used for anything beyond replying to it and then deleting it.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the new version replaces this one on the same page and the effective date at the top is updated. A change that alters the purposes for which data is used is stated in the text of the notice itself.
